Copyright Information
|
Bristol Pony Farm and its affiliates respect the intellectual property of
others, and we ask our partners and any others posting or contributing to
this site to do the same. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been
copied and is accessible on this site in a way that constitutes copyright
infringement, you may notify us by providing our copyright contact with the
following information. Upon physical receipt of proper notification listed
below, we will respond expeditiously to remove or disable access to the
material(s) properly identified in the notification. We are not a service
provider, but we make this information available freely in the interest of
fairness. |

copy of the copyrighted work exists, for example the URL of the website

What steps need to be followed to
"counter" a copyright infringement complaint?
Answer:
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) establishes a procedure under
which materials may be replaced or have access to those materials restored.
Even though we aren't a service provider, we provide this information
freely. Specifically, if one desires to have their materials replaced
or have access to their materials restored, one should contact our copyright
contact with a "counter" notification containing the following:
A physical signature.
Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has
been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was
removed or access to it was disabled.
A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that
the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or
misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent
to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the Judicial district
in which the address is located, and that you will accept service of process
from the person who provided the notification of infringement or an agent of
that person.
All of the above conditions must be met before we will investigate the
counter complaint.

What stance do we take on
copyright infringement?
Answer:
We fully comply with all intellectual property laws. In particular, when the
owner of an exclusive right (ie. "copyright") is concerned that this
right is infringed by material(s) placed on our system or network
there are laws that provide certain procedures to ensure that infringing
materials are removed without wrongfully injuring the subscriber/partner or
unduly burdening the provider/host.
